The affordable vibration monitors from PCH Engineering measure the condition of a machine 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. The built in alarm function secures early knowledge of all machine faults e.g. imbalances or misalignment. This allows you to handle problems before they cause breakdowns. Most of our monitors are SIL 2 rated with MTTF(D), FIT, PFH(D) and DC diagnostic coverage numbers available.
Therefore, you can assure operational continuity of your production and avoid unplanned machinery downtime, material costs, etc.
Collect trend data or perform FFT analysis
With online vibration sensors / monitors fitted, you can not only protect your machines with relays integrating in your safety chain. They can also be used for condition monitoring. Scalar values and real-time time-stream / waveform recordings can be collected utilising the free PCH Vibration Studio software or data can be transfered to a SCADA or PLC solution using communication protocols like CAN Open, ModBus or ProfiNet, made available as 4-20 mA / 0-5V signals, stored locally in a PCH Datalogger module or through our OPC server. When convenient, it is possible to make a fourier transformation (FFT) of time-recordings and identify vibration frequencies affecting your machine performance. Analysis can be done on site or at a remote location after data transfer using our PCH EtherBridge. Data can be treated locally or in the cloud.
Configure to your need
Most PCH vibration sensor and monitors can be configured with our PCH Vibration Studio software (included), and it is possibe to monitor both narrow and broad frequency bands, set up alarm limits and delays, define sensitivity and full-scale etc. If monitors are made available on Intra or Internet, they can also be managed & configured remotely.
